On a limited budget (like me)? Seems you don't need to much to run BF1.

Haha Te...

Action,I think I agree with Moe on the ram... 4 gigs seems alittle toooo low, I would take what they say with a pinch of salt, Im not sayin they wrong, but they may be testing in a different environment, or single player instead of multiplayer or campaign, or maybe beta testing - the game is grunty I can tell you.
My system is pretty new, and most of it is kickass except due to the fact that I had a real tight budget I tried to skimp on the CPU-and Im suffering for it.
The game freezes for a few second every few minutes in game, especially when im in an area where its really buzzing, tanks, grenades, fire etc etc, I know its not the GTX 1070 Superclocked, and Im positive its not my 16 GB DDR4 ram, I have added screenies of my little widgets below to show you how i monitor it, note I was playing ingame and quickly alt-tabbed and print screened them so its as accurate as possible.

As you can see, the CPU is totally maxed out running BF1-now the i5 6400 is a 4 core 4 thrread locked processor, whereas the GTX 1070 is hardly batting an eye-also you can see the system/game is only using about 8 of the 16 gb for the ram.
I have a very good PSU , plenty of case airflow, a fast new SSD and an ASUS B 150M motherboard - these things are definately NOT whats causing my ingame freezes-its the processor, so when that vid says its possible to run a dual core system, I really wanna see how they can play with that!
My advise, and something i learnt in this build: dont skimp on the processor!

If you wanna do a build Im sure plenty of us will help out and help u research, post up approx budget and put some preferred items u want in your potential rig as mandatory down-we can take it from there if u wish

If there's not enough physical RAM the OS will happily allocate pagefile space and since that will be on an SSD presumably it will be fast enough foe holding things that the game is not needing in a hurry or at that particular time (maybe map data not in your view etc). As you can see from your capture, you are not needing any pagefile space.

I'm not sure how well BF1 makes use of all those cores and threads, at the end of the day it maybe just need a couple so i7 isn't really needed. What is needed is clock speed. Your i5 6400 might only be 2.7Ghz, which is below the minimum requirements of i5 6600K, which runs at 3.5GHz.

Your CPU is your bottleneck.

Thats correct.
I still play- but not as much as I used to! K/D ratio is now @ 0.52!!!
but the game is still stunning
