Is there any known compatibility issues which cause 2142 to have memory errors in vista 64 home premium? I often get dumped back to the desktop during round loads, and occasionally during a game. Its frustrating!.

Comp is an I7 920, 12GB ram and ATI 4870 OC Gigabyte vid card... As far as I know its all the most recent drivers ( I let it update itself from the hardware vendors websites... )

Cheers :)

It might be a nice setup, but its not making me play any better than when I was hammering away in BF2 with an XP6000 and a 7600GT. Not actually noticeably better fps either, to be honest, although I went from 1600*1200 to 1920*1080 so maybe the few extra pixels make a difference!.

Maybe its just a particularly buggy game... we all know that their crap at QC over at EA and Dice!!!

ultimate vrs home premium is not going to be the problem... Maybe a clean install might be the fix. Which I cant be bothered doing at the moment.

And yeah, the 920 runs it happily windowed with just about anything else side by side. I can even run dvd shrink in low priority mode and not notice it when gaming.
