As per my grump with BFBC2 the assholes that are responsible for getting the basics of ballastics right so they can work out how it should be applied to a game STILL havent even watched something as easy to get hold of as this before they spend hours cocking up the weopen ballistics (now these assholes are better than the one's that did BFBC2) butcome on did they learn nothing??????????????????????

the actual ballistics* are not too bad - bullet drop appears to be tied fairly well to the velocity ( and ability to maintain said velocity ) of the round ( apart from pistols which are laser straight ballistics for some reason ). But the power of a round.. well, I doubt anyone would remain standing if they were shot with a 7.62*39mm ( AK47, SKS etc ) round, let alone a 7.62*51 ( commonly known as a .308, or in BF3, Scar H, some sniper rifles, M240, M60, PKP etc ).

* being that ballistics is defined as the flight dynamics of a projectile.
